I've been really lousy at writting lately largely because I'm in the middle of a two week span without a day off and long hours and I am exhausted. Only three more days!
What I've been meaning to say is that October 4th saw the release of another must-have release in the new Broken Social Scene. This is a Toronto band that I got really into early this last summer. I guess I can describe them as a melodic noise band.
The new self-titled album is easily one of the year's best. It's like a symphony of distortion and harmonies. It's got everything, as long as it's great. Pair this with their previous album You Forgot it in People, and you'll own one of the best one-two punches I've ever heard.
