Dry Season

We here in northeast Missouri are in midst of a severe drought. On a personal note, I am too with music releases. Nothing has really excited me lately so I've been sucking up older stuff I hadn't gotten around to getting. That's seems to be changing in a couple of weeks. Here's what I've picked up on:

Orenda Fink-Invisible Ones
Portastatic-Bright Ideas
John Vanderslice-Pixel Revolt

Death Cab for Cutie-Plans
Supergrass-Road to Rouen

Iron & Wine and Calexico-Lays in Reins

Ryan Adams-September
Wolf Parade-Apologies to the Queen Mary

Broken Social Scene-Windsurfing Nation

Silver Jews-Tanglewood Numbers

I'm sure I'm missing several things, feel free to fill in the blanks. There are other releases that I'll get whenever by American Analog Set, Cursive, Del the Funky Homosapien, Franz Ferdinand, and New Pornographers. This is turning out to be a solid year!

(Oh by the way....My neighbors just got home. What's the first thing I hear? God damn Foo Fighters!! Sorry Cory, there's no way I'm picking up their new album for a while now. I'm Fooed out.)
